Welcome to the Quitman Public Library!

The Quitman Public Library is located one block off the courthouse square in downtown Quitman, Texas.  Our physical address is 202 East Goode Street which is where State Highways 154 and 37 merge through the downtown area of Quitman.  

The library building is beautifully landscaped, courtesy of the Quitman Garden Club, and the interior is spacious with nine 19 ft. panels of floor to ceiling windows offering natural lighting from the northwest.  This lends itself to an atmosphere that is conducive to study, reading, reflection and relaxation. 

The library houses nearly 30,000 items for circulation and welcomes nearly 40,000 patrons and visitors each year.  Now is a great time to stop in and "check out" what the Quitman Public Library has to offer.  My staff and I hope to see you soon.
